Grace Gilling, Managing Director

GillingGrace has been with Hennik Research, publishers of The Manufacturer, since 2010. Starting as an events administrator, she progressed through a number of key operational roles before being appointed Managing Director in 2016. She now works closely with the leadership team to oversee the strategic delivery of The Manufacturer’s events, publishing, and awards portfolio — ensuring it delivers lasting value for both our clients and our audience.

Passionate about UK manufacturing, Grace is committed to helping the sector become more efficient, sustainable, and competitive. She also sits on the Manufacturing Industries Division Board at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), reflecting her broader engagement with industry and support for skills development and innovation.

Henry Anson, Director

AnsonHenry is passionate about manufacturing and its role as the backbone for the future of the global economy.

Joe Bush, Editor

Joe BushJoe is an experienced print and online journalist with a background in manufacturing, engineering, automation and electronics. Joe heads up The Manufacturer Editorial team and is responsible for content across the publishing portfolio, covering the length and breath of the UK manufacturing sector and the challenges currently being faced including supply chain, digital transformation, sustainability and skills.

He also heads-up The Manufacturer Top 100 Awards which celebrates the best of manufacturing talent. He has previously been editor of a range of industrial titles including Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Industrial Compliance, Automation, Components in Electronics and Electronic Specifier.
