ABB, Bosch and Cisco have formed an international joint venture to develop an open-software IoT platform called mozaiq operations for smart home devices.

The platform will help to unify today’s stand-alone solutions for home automation and offer interoperability across devices. The platform, to be developed by mozaiq operations GmbH, brings the Internet of Things (IoT) into consumers’ homes, making it easy and secure for a wide range of products to communicate with each other.
