Action needed on strategic metals, report says

The Science and Technology Committee has today published a report on strategically important metals, warning of the negative effect the 'perception of scarcity' of these materials could create.

Reserves of strategic metals, vital to advanced manufacturing, low-carbon technologies and other growing industries, are unlikely to run out over the coming decades.
