Boeing in talks for $5bn contract with FedEx

Boeing is poised to secure a deal with package delivery company FedEx for 25 more 767 cargo jets, in a contract worth roughly $5bn.

Both Boeing and FedEx declined to comment on the outcome of the weekend’s talks in Seattle. Representatives from both firms discussed the contract over the weekend in Seattle, according to Bloomberg. Spokespeople from both camps declined to comment on the situation, with Boeing reps saying they didn’t discuss talks with customers.…
