Bombardier takes $2.2bn orders from Farnborough

After a series of deals, aircraft manufacturer Bombardier has won business totalling $2.22bn (£1.43bn) over the course of Farnborough International Airshow.

Bombardier, which has a large manufacturing base in Belfast, Northern Ireland, announced a deal yesterday for six Q400 NextGen airliners with Canadian firm Jazz Aviation, which operates aircraft for Air Canada.
