Growth in domestic orders wavered for small and medium-sized manufacturers in the three months to May, but export orders growth ramped up to the strongest on record, according to the CBI’s latest quarterly SME Trends Survey.
The survey of more than 320 respondents also found that output continued to rise firmly, albeit at a slightly slower pace than in the previous quarter.
