Sheffield based metal forger Firth Rixson is to swell its State-side operations by building a closed die manufacturing facility in Georgia, USA.
Named Firth Rixson Forgings LLC, the new 200,000 square foot site in Liberty County will become the company’s fourth closed die forging facility. With its Sheffield headquarters, Firth Rixon has 11 sites worldwide, including US facilities in California, New York and Nevada and a China based operation in Jiangsu.
