A public inquiry has begun looking into events that led up to the 2004 explosion at the ICL factory in Glasgow which killed nine and injured a further 33.
The factory exploded and collapsed on 11 May 2004 following the escape of liquefied petroleum gas from old pipework. ICL and ICL Tech were held accountable and fined £400,000 for breaching health and safety laws.
