Nissan production resumes at Sunderland facility

Car production has resumed at Nissan's Sunderland factory after shutting down last week following maintenance work taking longer than expected.

Following workers returning last Monday after the summer shut down, problems arose in the factory’s press department to cause the biggest suspension in the plant’s 30-year history.
