A CD factory in Blackburn, Lancashire, has announced it is to close with 260 workers set to lose their jobs.
The EDC factory, with the capacity to produce 650,000 discs a day, will close in December when production will move to Germany. “This decision was carefully evaluated, and not an easy one for EDC to make.
