UK sensor project tackles £3.5bn challenge of hidden corrosion

A university spin-out and a Scottish Innovation Centre have joined forces to tackle a huge challenge for the oil & gas, nuclear, renewables, and construction industries - how to detect corrosion that’s hidden under insulation.

This new project will explore the use of remote sensors to monitor corrosion continually without the need to physically remove insulation.
