Sony UK Technology Centre bakes latest generation Raspberry Pi

The Sony UK Technology Centre (UKTEC) has more than quadrupled its production rate to satisfy demand for the latest generation Raspberry Pi, a credit-card-sized single-board computer.

The Pencoed-based business expects to increase the production rate from 18,000 units to 80,000 units per week to cope with the expected level of interest in the next-generation Raspberry Pi 2, which has been launched world-wide today.
