Thales UK has announced the winners of its third annual Thales Scottish Technology Prize for product engineering.
The winner of the £20,000 first prize went to Dr David Burns and Dr John-Mark Hopkins at the Institute of Photonics at Strathclyde University in Glasgow, for research relating to improvements to eye-safe nanosecond pulse rangefinders.
