Job Title: CEO
Company: Aviramp
Tell us a bit about yourself. This can include telling us what fires you up about the job you do, your professional achievements, your career highlights. What inspires you? What attracted you to pursue a career in manufacturing? Is there anything else you’d like to say about either your job or UK manufacturing?
My ambition as CEO of Aviramp is to see how our boarding ramps and bridges are changing aviation ground handling standards, and to set a new industry precedent worldwide. Our strategy is – and has always been – based on innovation. We are constantly developing our products so that they offer the best solutions to some of the problems facing the aviation industry, such as poor passenger experience, better and more dignified access for disabled passengers, improved safety and more efficient operation.
I have a passion for business, travelling the world promoting Aviramp and UK manufacturing and always on the lookout for new supply chain partners. But I’m also a champion of people and sharing our success with colleagues is paramount as they are the key to our continued success. Highlight of the year? Partnering with Delta Air Lines, Michelin and the US charity Best Defense Foundation to donate an Aviramp to Deauville Airport in Normandy for this year’s D-Day commemorations.
