£10m boost for Jacobs Cream Crackers

United Biscuits has announced a £10m investment in its Jacobs Cream Crackers site in Aintree, Liverpool.

The investment comes as part of a wider plan to modernise and boost overall output within the firm’s UK operations. The 101-year-old factory will be transformed into a centre of excellence for savoury brands. The Aintree site manufactures the famous Mini Cheddars brand.
