£650m of bids for Regional Growth Fund Round 5

The Department for Business Innovation and Skills has confirmed that bids for money in Round 5 of the Regional Growth fund totalled £650m.

The Regional Growth Fund (RGF) is a £3.2bn scheme which provides match funding for private sector growth in the UK. The North West was the region which put in the most bids for funding in Round 5 with 24 potential projects being put forward by the region. These bids applied for a total of £81m,…
