ABB to improve energy efficiency of Renault-Nissan Mexican plant by up to 20%

ABB is to supply energy-efficient, low-voltage power distribution solutions to COMPAS (Cooperation Manufacturing Plant Aguascalientes), the new car manufacturing facilities of Renault-Nissan and Daimler’s strategic Mexican joint venture with the aim of reducing energy consumption by up to 20%.

ABB technology products including low-voltage switchgear, motor-controller, electrical panels and automated lighting systems will be used to power the Renault-Nissan / Daimler factory’s entire electrical system.
