Commercial aerospace industry data released today shows a year-on-year record for aircraft deliveries in January 2014.
The research, conducted by ADS Group, revealed that 84 aircraft were delivered in January 2014 compared to 74 in the same month last year. Additionally, it showed 64 aircraft orders and 244 engine orders placed last month, bringing the total backlog of orders to 11,269 aircraft and 20,030 engines.
