A new study has revealed that investment in R&D within the aerospace industry helped to generate £10bn of wider economic benefits to the UK in 2017 alone.
Between 2013 – 2017, the UK civil aerospace industry invested £8.5bn (US$11bn) in R&D, with spillovers into non-aerospace industries creating additional gross value added of £10bn in 2017 alone.
