Professor Timothy Richard Dafforn has been appointed BIS’s Chief Scientific Adviser, succeeding Professor John Perkins CBE.
Due to take up the post on June 1, Professor Dafforn is currently the Entrepreneur in Residence for Synthetic Biology at BIS.
