Cost-cutting measures see McBride axe 400 UK jobs

Up to 400 UK jobs at own-label household cleaning product manufacturer, McBride will face the axe as part of company cost-cutting measures.

In a move to try and recuperate £12m per year, the company made the announcement amid what it claimed was “a deterioration in the UK retail environment.” It is expected the company will make 400 redundancies of its 1,600 strong UK workforce.
