Fill me up: Akzo ready to install £15 million advanced filling lines

A £15 million, nine-line fully automated paint filling investment will shortly be installed at AkzoNobel’s £100 million, 100,000 sq metre site at Ashington.

At full capacity the filling lines will potentially produce up to 100 million litres of paint for sale in the UK and Europe, almost double what is possible from its existing UK operations.
