Strong demand means oil and gas equipment manufacturer FMC Technologies needs to increase workforce by 240 to about 1,000.
The new jobs will be in R&D and manufacturing, with 170 being created at the company’s base in Bellshill, north Lanarkshire and another 70 in Dunfermline, Fife.
