GE yesterday launched its new GE Marine division which combines the cumulative expertise of several GE businesses and will be led by Tim Schweikert, VP, GE Marine.
In a statement, GE said the new organization brings together its commercial and technological expertise in the marine sector including gas turbines and diesel engines, motors, generators, variable speed drives, drilling systems, automation and control systems and all the electrical equipment in between.
