JCB fuel-saving machines to appear at Bauma

JCB will present its fuel saving solution to EU emissions legislation by showcasing machines powered by the Ecomax engine at the Bauma trade fair.

The company claims Ecomax has met the stringent Stage IIIB/Tier 4 interim emissions laws without the use of diesel particulate filter (DPF) or after-treatment. Instead, it uses in-cylinder technologies – patent pending – that result in a cleaner, more efficient combustion process.
