JLR confirms it may have lost 6,000 cars in Tianjin explosion

Jaguar Land Rover has released a statement confirming that nearly 6,000 vehicles had recently been shipped to China and were being stored at Tianjin.

A massive explosion ripped through a shipyard in the Chinese port city of Tianjin on August 12. Located in the city’s Binhai New Area, the port is the tenth largest shipping facility in the world and serves as the primary port for the Beijing area.
