Alexander Dennis has supplied a new Enviro400 double decker bus to workforce solutions provider Kovacs Group, strengthening the company’s transport fleet and supporting its operations across the Midlands.

Kovacs Group, established in 1994, provides temporary labour to sectors including FMCG, drinks logistics, automotive, warehousing and industrial operations. For large teams deployed to sites in remote or hard-to-reach locations, the business operates its own bus services to ensure staff arrive punctually and efficiently.

The latest fleet addition is an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double decker with capacity for 100 passengers, including 85 seated. It is the second Enviro400 operated by Kovacs Group and the first purchased directly from the manufacturer. Built to stock specification, the vehicle is fitted with wood-effect flooring, three-point seatbelts, a digital tachograph and a full CCTV system.

Robert Kovacs, Founder and Managing Director of Kovacs Group, said the new bus will further enhance the company’s ability to deliver reliable transport solutions: “The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 offers us high capacity in a robust vehicle, allowing us to transport temporary workforces to and from sites in comfort. It ensures we provide a reliable service for our customers. The team at Alexander Dennis has been incredibly helpful throughout the buying and delivery process, making it very smooth for us.”

Simon Wood, Regional Sales Manager at Alexander Dennis, welcomed Kovacs Group as a new customer: “It has been a pleasure to work with Kovacs Group directly for the first time to provide one of our popular double deckers. It’s already joined operations in the Midlands, doing what the Enviro400 does best: moving large groups of people in comfort at low operating costs.”

The Enviro400 has become one of the UK’s most widely adopted double deckers, with a reputation for robust performance and efficient operation. Its delivery to Kovacs Group highlights the continued demand for high-capacity vehicles to support workforce transport solutions in key industrial sectors.
