The new Ford GT will commence production in late 2016.

Ford is set to unveil its new GT race car during this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans this week.

The Ford GT race car is expected to be revealed at this month’s classic 24 hour race with qualifying and practice commencing on today and the race starting on June 13.
