Ford Silicon Valley has a new R&D site to accelerate self-driving cars

The Ford SYNC 3 system has been designed to keep the drivers eyes on the road and hands on the wheel, even when controlling their favorite phone apps.

Ford has opened a new R&D center in Palo Alto with the aim of accelerating the company’s innovation in connectivity, autonomous vehicles and big data.
