An initiative designed to reduce the amount of plastic that enters the Earth's oceans by collecting PET bottles and turning them in to a high quality, certified recycled plastic has hit a significant milestone.

Prevented Ocean Plastic™ used Global Recycling Day to champion the people on the frontlines of the recycling revolution and announced there are now 500 products packaged in its high quality, traceable and certified recycled plastic, made from discarded plastic collected from coastal areas at risk of ocean plastic pollution.
