Scotland could become “economic wasteland”, warns EEF chief

Terry Scuoler, EEF's chief executive has today urged his fellow Scotts that a 'Yes' vote on September 18 could turn Scotland into an "economic wasteland".

Speaking in a statement released today, Scuoler said a vote for independence could lead to Scotland becoming an economic wasteland, greatly diminishing the standing of both Scotland and the rest of the UK and seriously damaging the long-term economic and social prospects of the nation.
