Sales of the 100% electric car have broken national and European records as Nissan LEAF proves itself to be the most popular electric vehicle in the UK, breaking national and European sales records.
Figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show the Nissan LEAF clocked up 851 sales during September, up 156% on the same month last year and topping the previous record monthly sales which was 630.
