The first of 11 large, bespoke Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs), being built for Sheffield Forgemasters’ proposed new machining facility, has passed a milestone test ahead of shipping it to the UK. German machine specialist, WaldrichSiegen, which is designing and building the machines to meet Sheffield Forgemasters’ requirements, has completed assembly and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)…
