Shell drills more money into North Sea

Energy firm Shell has been granted consent will develop of a new oil and gas field after being granted permission by the UK Government.

The Fram field, located 135 miles east of Aberdeen, is expected to add a further two percent to the UK’s energy production. The development plan, which will include a floating, production, storage and offloading vessel will be one of the biggest development plans for the past decade.
