Supermeat wants to farm meat without the animal

Supermeat, an Israeli food technology startup, want to produce and sell meat but without the need for the slaughter of animals.

Supermeat, which launched in December and began an online crowdfunding campaign this week on Indiegogo, is developing a method for creating fresh meat from animal cell samples.
