Supply chain robotics will enhance, not replace humans

The growth of robotics as a way to automate elements of the supply chain and improve efficiencies will not be at the expense of humans, states Jon Gibson, head of logistics, at global supply chain consultancy Crimson & Co.

Recently, the Government announced its intentions to be at the forefront of driverless technology following the approval of a new code of practice, which will be launched in the spring allowing for testing of autonomous cars.
