Synergy Group signs up for $630m deal with Rolls-Royce

Engine-maker Rolls-Royce has won a $630m (£408m) contract with Brazil-based Synergy Group, which operates several airlines in South America and one in Africa, to provide Trent 700 engines and services for the nine Airbus A330s it agreed to buy yesterday.

Rolls-Royce will offer TotalCare long-term engine service support for Synergy Aerospace’s A330s, with yesterday’s additional nine aircraft worth $1.8bn (£1.1bn) according to Airbus’ list prices.
