The Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard has unveiled an extraordinary technology line-up for its FOS Future Lab presented by Randox exhibition.

The frontier science showcase, curated by Lucy Johnston, explores technology for a better world, whether that be mapping deep space, exploring the depths of the ocean, or demonstrating the very latest uses of AI and robotics.

Over 90,000 visitors are expected at the exhibition across the weekend from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 July. They’ll have the chance to meet Ameca, a humanoid robot, watch European Space Agency scientists recreate the universe after the big bang, explore a detailed 3-D printed model of Ernest Shackleton’s Endurance, and discover the future of healthcare with Randox.

Long-time Festival of Speed supporters, Atlassian Williams Racing will appear as part of the STEM Lab by EDB for the first time at this year’s event. As well as taking to the Goodwood hillclimb across the weekend, the Formula 1 team will bring an interactive display to the FOS Future Lab campus supported by EBD, the event’s STEM partner, as they highlight next-generation driver protection and give visitors the chance to test their Formula 1 driving reflexes.

Tiktok sensation The Rapping Science Teacher, Matt Green, has been announced as Goodwood’s first Festival Of Speed STEM Ambassador. Matt will support Future Lab’s STEM ambitions, welcoming 1,000 school children on the first day of the event which takes place at the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex.

Matt Green said: “I am thrilled to be the first Festival of Speed STEM Ambassador. It is essential we encourage young people to shape our world and empower more women and girls into STEM careers. At Future Lab I’m leading STEM tours to show science is for everyone. I can’t wait to support this ambition at Future Lab”

Tim Peake said: “Future Lab inspires thousands of visitors every year and is an incredible forum in which to learn about the science and technology driving our understanding of the Universe.”

The 2025 FOS Future Lab exhibition will explore four key themes:
