UK takes centre stage for IFB: biggest trade fair in 60 years

Today will mark the opening of Britain's biggest business event since the 2012 Olympics as Prime Minister David Cameron launches the International Festival of Business in Liverpool.

Running for 50 days, the International Festival for Business aims to generate more than £1.7bn in contracts and £100m of foreign direct investment over the next five years. IFB 2014 will be the biggest trade fair in the UK in more than 60 years. More than 250,000 people from 80 countries will take part in over 200 events…
