UK textile industry sees production boom in 2017

UK textile manufacturing is booming with production up 25% and 50% of businesses reporting an increase in turnover compared to last year, according to the annual study conducted by Make it British.

The textiles group will move its Halifax nonwovens business, Texfelt, to a newly built facility at Cutler Heights, with a focus on creating recycled textile products for a range of industry sectors.
