Visitors up 16% at this year’s Skills Show

Visitor numbers for The Skills Show 2013, the nation’s largest skills and careers event, rose by more than 16% on the previous year’s total.

82,147 visitors descended on Birmingham’s NEC over the three-day period, bettering last year’s total of 70,738 attendees. Over ground covering seven football pitches, visitors were encouraged to try hands-on experiences across the event aiming to inspire them to explore further education, skills and apprenticeships.
