Volvo Trucks has implemented 3D printing technology at its plant in Lyon, France to increase the efficiency of its operations.
Volvo now uses 3D printers, developed by Stratasys, to produce critical production line tools. The tools had previously been made from metal, however using the Stratasys technology Volvo is now able to fabricate them from ABS thermoplastics.
