I am delighted to have the opportunity to be part of the fantastic Executive Team for one of the top five grocery brands in the UK, leading the operations functions for Warburtons. Working in FMCG offers such an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic opportunity.
The task of providing great tasting, nutritious, sustainable and affordable food offers the opportunity to work together with many dedicated, energetic and stimulating people to develop and implement the latest technologies, food science insights and very best operating practices. The opportunity to develop great relationships and work collaboratively together across the value chain from academia, research organisations and suppliers – through to retail partners and ultimately consumers – is genuinely an exciting reason to get up and go to work every day.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Work hard, play hard and go for it! There is no better feeling than winning together as a team.
