I’m a Strategic Operations Leader at BAE Systems with a background in manufacturing, supply chain and supplier development. What drives me is creating sustainable, people-centric improvements that boost both performance and morale.
My career highlight has been leading operations on multiple programmes across multiple sites, delivering improvements for both the programmes and the people involved. I was drawn to manufacturing by its tangible impact; you can see and feel the outcome of your work. UK manufacturing inspires me because of the blend of innovation, heritage and resilience. Every day offers a chance to solve complex problems while developing others, which fuels my passion for leadership.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Believe in your potential sooner and dont wait for permission to lead – step up and create your own opportunities.
What is your favourite engineered/manufactured product?
The jet engine – an incredible combination of precision engineering, power and innovation that transformed global travel and defence.

I was once a bomb disposal operative – an experience that taught me the importance of precision, calmness under pressure and trust in your team.
