Tell us a bit about yourself. This can include telling us what fires you up about the job you do, your professional achievements, your career highlights. What inspires you? What attracted you to pursue a career in manufacturing? Is there anything else you’d like to say about either your job or UK manufacturing?
I’m the Site Lead in the Nijmegen manufacturing site with extensive knowledge of a range of manufacturing platforms within the pharmaceutical sector. I started my career working in the labs before moving into operations management. Early in my career I was given the opportunity to start up a new end-to-end aseptic processing and packing facility which was a great and challenging experience. Following this I have had many incredible opportunities, but moving with my family to another country and running a site has been an amazing experience.

During my career I built on my undergraduate degree with a Masters in pharmaceutical microbiology and have spent much of my time during my career in complex aseptic manufacture. I love working in operations and throughout my career, the opportunity to deliver for our patients and to continuously improve the way we do things is what gets me out of bed, as well as working with amazing people
